Sometimes it is difficult for fresh graduates to find job just because they have an unimpressive resumes. But having no previous job resume is not an excuse to leave your resume blank. Here I give you all simple tips to write an effective resume that can attract your will-be-employer.

A good resume must consist at least your personal data, your qualification and your job experience.

In personal data section you should write down your full name, city and date of birth, current address, email, and contact number such as telephone or cell phone number. Here you may put your hobbies. In some Asian countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, employers sometime need personal information of your religion. So when you apply for a job there you can write down your religion, however it is not obligation to write this information on your resume.

The second section is your educational background, here you should write your educational background from kindergarten or elementary school, high school, to university. And do not forget to write the name of institutions, city where it is located and the year of your study. Also write your major and any concentration or minor that you did.

The next section is experience. The problem is since you are a fresh graduate; it is difficult for you to provide this item. But do not worry, you may write your lab practice when you studied at your university or your life experiences that are correlated to the job you are applying for or summer jobs. You can also include any voluntary jobs that you held in your local community or cultural clubs.

Another technical matter in writing resume is that the employers (human resources managers) usually are busy people, therefore, do not write long resume because it will take a long time for the human resources manager to read. What they need to read and what you need to write down is simple, clear but attractive resume.
